Email and Personalization Marketing Manager

Located in our Seattle, WA Headquarters


Lead the email communications and web content personalization strategy for a fast-paced, agile digital marketing group in an established e-commerce business, located in Seattle, WA. Each member of our small team is responsible for results and thrives on bringing new ideas from concept to reality. The ideal candidate will balance right and left brain thinking, enjoying both creative problem solving and number crunching to develop sublime solutions for the optimal user experience, conversion and retention of valued customers.



  • Extend current email marketing program: work with marketing director to formulate email list growth strategy, automate campaigns and personalize interactions in scalable, data-driven program.
  • Code, schedule and deploy HTML emails using Bronto email platform.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on email contents and marketing calendar.


  • Use qualitative and quantitative data to understand customer journey from off-site to on-site – define scalable, automated ways to improve experience with personalized content.
  • Work with UX/UI Lead on Experience Testing – leverage tools such as Hotjar, Evergage, Google Analytics to A/B test content experiments.


  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams on email contents and marketing calendar.
  • Manage metrics and reporting for programs you own.
  • Create high-impact email and personalization programs that demonstrably grow overall business by improving conversion rate, customer retention, satisfaction and loyalty.


  • HTML / CSS (familiar with specifics of email development for variety of ESPs)
  • Ability to analyze data and campaign performance – use data to inform decision making and formulation of test plans
  • A/B Testing variable content
  • Audience segmentation – ability to define logical audiences and map content
  • Self-motivated and team oriented – eager to be individual contributor that achieves a large impact by collaborating closely with team members


  • 5 Years’ experience working with personalized content and data in email and website platforms
  • Proficient at strategizing and creating automated, data-driven campaigns and reporting metrics
  • 2-5 Years in digital marketing and e-commerce business
  • 2-5 Years working with analytics platform, such as Google Analytics
  • Familiar with product data feeds and 3rd party SAAS applications for delivering dynamic content in e-commerce and email marketing platforms

Customer Service / Inside Sales Representative

Located in our Northwood, OH office

Activities will include:

  • Assisting customer in using our website to place orders or find pricing information
  • Answering questions regarding order status, delivery or questions about materials we offer
  • Answering phone and fax inquiries for quotes
  • Entering orders using our internal entry system
  • Successful transfer of larger-volume orders and inquiries to appropriate sales hubs within our parent organization
  • Resolving customer requests, questions and complaints – frequently requiring analysis of situations to determine the best use of resources

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-5 years customer service or inside sales experience
  • A history of high quality customer service interactions
  • Sales driven and highly motivated
  • Detail oriented and work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Experience in an environment with high volume call activity
  • Familiarity of iChat live with customers
  • Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations
  • A history of self-directed work output, with emphasis on being able to manage multiple simultaneous activities
  • A desire to join an organization where efforts result in immediate and tangible results for themselves and the organization
  • Experience with MS Office applications
  • Experience with metals or distribution industries is a plus
  • Familiarity with lean practices/6S/ISO standards will be very helpful
